What can a respiratory nurse do for me?

• Answer your questions and discuss the issues related to your lung disease.
  
• Prescribing/changing medication, but also providing instruction and explanation about medication.
  
• Provide practical support for problems you face on a daily basis.
  
• When necessary, consult with and/or refer you to other experts such as a lung specialist, nurse specialist, physiotherapist, dietician, social worker or psychologist in order to tailor the care to you even more appropriately.
